About
My interest in woodworking and the outdoors began when I was a little kid.
Growing up in a quiet neighborhood on Vancouver Island, BC, I would hang out in my dad's backyard shed building little wooden biplanes, bows, and other small projects. At age 9, my dad took me on my first hunting trip, and from there it became a lifelong obsession.
After earning my Red Seal certification in carpentry in 2014, I spent years honing my craft in the construction industry while building handcrafted pieces as a hobby.
Lukas Woodcraft was born when I came up with the idea of burning a big bull elk onto the top of a coffee table I had built. When I finished it, I realized I had created something truly unique.
I enjoy building my Torch Art Tables because they allow me to combine my passion for carpentry with my love for the outdoors. I'm grateful for your support, and having one of my pieces become part of your home is incredibly rewarding.
